UNWANTED SPIRITS AND OR NEGATIVE ENERGY                 

Have you experienced something move quickly across the room, seeing it out of the corner of your eye? Perhaps you have experienced a strange smell or cold spot in a room, or you hear footsteps when you know that nobody else is home. Or maybe a feeling of negative energy seems to linger. These are all signs of spirits that may be living in your home. Most of us don't wish to share space with ghost or earthbound spirits. (I prefer the term earthbound spirits. To me ghost is a negative term) It is unclear why some earthbound spirits remain... perhaps the death was sudden or traumatic, perhaps the earthbound felt it had unfinished business, it could be a helper spirit, or it could be a loved one that is just keeping a watchful eye on you. Whatever the reason, sometimes these earthbound spirits sometimes just wish to communicate or need help to cross over to the otherside.

WHAT IS A CLEANSING OR CLEARING?
Cleansing or clearing is a sort of prayer ritual or banishing ritual that is used to rid a home or area of unwanted entities or negative energy. It not only cleanses or clears the home or area but it also brings about healing.  There are many different ways to do a cleansing/clearing and anyone can do a cleansing or clearing as long as the are properly protected(Asking for your Angels, Spirit Guides and the Divine light, to surround and protect you). But there are times when extra help is needed to cleanse or clear a stubborn entity. By adding more spiritual people, angels, spirit guides and the Divine, raises the positive energy. 

HOW IS A CLEANSING OR CLEARING DONE?
Before each cleansing/clearing session I assess the home or area and the level of cleansing/clearing that is needed. I do this by asking you and your residential spirit(s) questions and making contact with the spirit(s). This does not cost extra and is included with each cleansing/clearing. Your cleansing/clearing session starts after I have arrived at your home and have had time to set up. My charge is to cover my time, expenses and positive energy exchange. All cleansings/clearings are conducted with respect and sensitivity to all religions and beliefs.

Tips for Self Cleansing and or Clearing

1. Ask for your angels, spirit guides and the Divine to help guide and protect you.

2. Ask the earthbound spirit if it  is willing to communicate with you. Tell them your intentions so they understand. After all, before they were spirits they were living human beings just like you and me.

3. Cleanse your home. This way is helpful, as you will "kill two birds with one stone." However, this method requires much preparation. To do this, wash everything in your house. all sheets, cutains, everything. Vacuum the floors and give the house a really thorough cleaning.

4. Clear negative energy using sage. One way the Native Americans used is a Sage ceremony. It was used to get rid of negative energies in the shelter. To do this, get two packs of white sage, burn it (the sage should burn slowly, it should not be in flames), and spread the smoke throughout the house. Be careful with humans and pets that may be sensitive to smoke especially pet birds. You can ask the earthbound spirits or negative energy to leave this place. Be polite and firm in your request. You can also say a blessing or prayer.

5. Spread salt around the perimeter of your house or in window sills. Salt represents positive energy.

6. Go through all rooms in the house with a small bell, ringing it quietly in each corner.

7. Have a friend or acquaintance go through the house with you, holding hands and saying in a firm voice, " I wish to have this space to myself, please seek the light and move on." Be aware that the earthbound spirit may want to communicate before moving on or may be upset and not want to leave.

8. For those who have religious beliefs you may want to use methods such us deep prayer or meditation, holy water, cross, pendulum, sage, crystals ect.

9. Bottom line is, do what feels right to you.
